0. Prologue

&#x3C;p&#x3E;At the end of his life, Oscar faced the Demon King to protect all that he loved. As their battle came to an end, neither could truly be called the winner as both fell to the other&#x27;s blade: a draw, in the most sincere sense. Now Oscar awakens 400 years after his climactic battle, with a younger body and a world vastly different than the one he once lived in. With nothing to fight for, he decides to live for himself and only himself. He was done with conflict, and simply desired one thing&#x2014;peace.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Now, if only the world would let him have that.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
