&#x3C;p&#x3E;In this world, there are special people born with unique powers, a little magic within them, generally referred to as &#x27;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;Mah&#x14D;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x27; or &#x27;mana&#x27;. People born with this power are often called &#x27;&#x3C;em&#x3E;Magi&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x27;. Those born with a lot of mana are easily noticeable since most have unique markings adorning their faces. The markings also signify what type of magic do the humans specialise in.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;That said, a person born with mana--even just a little bit of it, or a Magi without markings--will have one noticeable difference with those born without magic. And that is, humans with Mah&#x14D; have eyes that constantly glow. The brightness of the glow depends solely on how much mana they have. So, a person with no magic has normal eyes.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Mystique Academy in Imperium City is one of the most well-known colleges in the world. It was built primarily to help Magi students improve their powers--they are non-Magi too, of course. Unsurprisingly, they also have a superhero training course.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;This story follows the life of Kiromi Kureiji, a hero-in-training born with the most one-of-a-kind markings and bizarre eyes as she strives to protect earth--and try to be a normal teen. Doesn&#x27;t sound too hard, right?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;But scientists, doctors, academics, and practically everyone is baffled as there has never been another record of such a person being born with her unusual features;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Kiromi Kureiji is born with insanely bright eyes that could turn into normal-looking ones. And the peculiar but admittedly simple-looking markings are located just under her eyes, a black letter &#x27;X&#x27; and a white &#x27;O&#x27; respectively.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
