Episode 16: Peacekeepers & Buccaneers!
Episode
Fifteen:
Peacekeepers
&
Buccaneers!
Ace
interrupted
the
meeting
between
Hunter
and
Zara.
He
carried
his
large
sword,
made
from
both
his
two
blades
with
him
as
he
kept
it
sheathed
on
his
back.
The
small
chuckle
of
a
boy
who
saw
the
man
he
escaped
with
on
the
ground
unconscious,
but
alive.
Ace
looked
directly
at
Hunter,
who
he
seemed
to
know,
with
no
words.
A
flare
soared
into
the
air
above
the
three,
with
a
large
navy
ship
en
route.
“Did
you
guys
win?”
Zara
asked.
Ace
walked
over
to
their
direction
with
his
hand
out.
Zara
softly
tapped
it,
before
Hunter
could
speak.
“Of
course,
we
did.
I
am
just
glad
to
see
you
both
still
standing.”
“Both!?”
Ace
said
surprisingly.
“Did
you
think
I
did
not
know
who
was
under
the
robes?
I
would
not
be
a
very
good
bounty
hunter
if
I
could
not
detect
it.
A
basic
bounty
technique
of
a
peacekeeper,
to
join
the
crew,
of
who
you
are
chasing
after.
The
question
is
what
you
are
going
to
do
now?”
Ace
asked
Hunter.
Ace
is
a
wanted
man,
nevertheless.
A
bounty
created
and
published
by
the
Court
of
Outlaws.
This
group
of
Outlaws
works
over
the
Navy
Peacekeepers.
The
Peacekeepers
are
the
only
group
who
speak
to
them.
The
court
deems
and
establishes
the
level
threat
of
a
Buccaneer,
dealing
them
a
bounty
that
fits
the
punishments
of
their
crimes.
Ace’s
bounty,
rests
at
forty-five
thousand
Divis.
A
handsome
toll
for
a
single
man
to
collect
on
a
rainy
day.
Ace
and
Hunter
locked
eyes
as
if
they
would
duel
in
a
serious
battle.
A
harsh
wind
blushed
across
the
blades
of
grass
with
Zara
walking
between
the
two.
“I
think
not,
Ace!”
Zara
said
punching
him
in
the
face.
“I
don’t
think
so
either,
Hunter!”
She
yelled
kicking
him
into
the
stratosphere.
“Both
of
you
are
morons,
really.
I
feel
that
I
am
the
only
mature
one
here…”
“Why
you
freaking
idiot!!!
Your
one
to
talk!”
Ace
and
Hunter
yelled
out
together.
Ace
and
Hunter
still
did
not
see
eye
to
eye.
After
the
beating
from
Zara,
both
refused
the
will
to
draw
their
blades.
“Since
this
is
Doi
Fang,
I
will
let
it
slide.
If
I
were
to
ever
come
across
you
again
Ace,
then
I
will
collect
your
head.”
Hunter
warned.
“And
not
Zara’s
too?”
Ace
asked.
“Huh!?
What
do
you
mean
by
that?”
Ace
chuckled
and
laughed
out
loud,
from
the
burst
of
shock
Hunter
endured.
Smacking
himself
silly,
as
he
became
unable
to
control
himself.
“She
must
have
not
made
it
clear
to
you.
I
am
joining
her
crew!
You
saved
her
Hunter,
so
I
assume
we
will
meet
again.
Are
you
going
to
chain
up
the
future
Royal
Buccaneer,
as
well?”
Ace
asked.
Hunters
eyes
nearly
fell
out,
before
he
was
able
to
comprehend
fully
what
he
said.
“Hey,
Zara.
Are
you
sure
you
want
to
bring
a
guy
like
this
on
your
crew?
He
is
dangerous
in
his
own
right!”
Zara
chuckled
and
gave
a
soft
smile,
nodding
her
head.
“Of
course!
He
is
going
to
have
the
world’s
greatest
bounty,
which
makes
him
the
strongest
man
in
the
world.
Why
would
I
not
have
him
on
my
crew?”
Ace
attempted
to
gawk
at
her
response
until
he
shook
his
head
in
understanding.
“I
get
it.
Well,
you
make
sure
to
stay
safe
on
the
seas,
until
we
meet
again.”
Hunter
spoke,
as
a
navy
ship
landed
close
to
the
island.
“For
now,
I
need
to
take
this
man
back
to
headquarters.”
Hunter
looked
down
at
Doi
Fang,
who
was
wrapped
in
a
chain
that
reduced
the
use
of
ere
powers.
Ere
conductors.
Doi
Fang
vaguely
conscious
noticed
Ace
staring
down
at
him
in
spite.
He
bit
his
lip
and
looked
back
at
Ace.
“Damn
you…
Ace
Creed,
I
will
get
my
revenge
for
being
made
a
fool
by
you!
I
swear.”
“Ow!”
“Shut
up…”
Ace
mocked,
with
his
foot
on
the
head
of
Doi
Fang.
Ace
looked
lost
while
Hunter
and
Doi
Fangs
feud
transpired.
Someone
bumped
him
on
the
hip,
who
was
Zara.
“Is
everything
okay?”
“I
was
going
to
ask
you
the
same
thing.”
“Uh…
why?”
“I
sort
of
heard
a
bit
of
your
history
with
Doi
Fang.
Which
makes
me
question
why
you
were
unable
to
chase
after
him,
despite
the
gap
in
speed.
Did
you
think
your
feelings
would
get
involved?”
Zara
asked.
“It
might
be
that
you’re
thinking
too
much
about
the
situation
entirely.”
Zara
opinionated.
Ace
blanked
by
her
response,
she
continued
to
stretch
her
body
staring
into
the
sky.
“My
father
once
told
me,
that
when
something
happens
in
the
past
that
is
out
of
your
control,
you
can
never
blame
yourself.
Those
events
are
going
to
be
your
driving
force
in
the
future.
Whether
they
are
good
or
bad,
you
grow
from
them.
Making
you
the
person
you
are
today.
And
our
actions
today,
will
be
what
creates
our
future
selves.”
Ace
gasped,
without
being
able
to
respond
to
her
speech.
He
smiled
shockingly
understanding
what
she
talked
about.
“Thank
you…
Zara.”
He
said
patting
her
on
the
shoulder.
“May
we
meet
again.
When
we
both
come
closer
to
our
dreams!”
The
two
shook
hands,
as
Hunter
began
to
part
to
his
ship.
Some
of
the
Peacekeepers
noticed
Ace,
who
Ace
told
not
to
capture.
That
he
was
an
outstanding
citizen
who
saved
the
ship
from
being
captured.
The
Navy
Peacekeepers
eventually
grabbed
the
rest
of
Doi
Fangs
crew.
Doi
Fang
was
marched
on
board
by
the
boy
he
saved
in
that
ongoing
fire,
ten
years
ago.
“Zara
was
right.
The
past
creates
the
person
we
are
now.
Whether
it
be
bad
or
good.
Doi
Fang,
you
put
me
through
hell.
I
came
out
of
that
hell
strong-minded
and
able
to
run
out
of
the
fire
myself.
Without
anyone’s
help.
I
am
the
man
you
see
before
you
today,
because
I
was
a
boy
who
followed
you.”
Ace
spoke
to
Doi
Fang.
“Even
if
you
still
have
me
chained…
you
will
never
forget
all
those
cruel
times
with
me.”
Doi
Fang
laughed.
“Maybe
not,
but
I
do
know
that
I
will
move
forward
myself.”
Hunter
passed
Doi
Fang
off
to
another
soldier,
who
took
him
into
custody.
Doi
Fang
continued
to
mock
Ace,
who
walked
back
to
the
direction
of
Zara
and
Ace.
“Don’t
you
turn
your
back
to
me
boy!
I
still
own
your
soul.”
Doi
Fang
blabbered.
Hunter
did
not
speak
or
word
or
give
the
slightest
attention,
to
the
man
being
carried
off.
Doi
Fang
and
the
soldier
were
eventually
taken
down
the
stairs
to
the
incarceration
room.
His
voice
fell
faint,
finally
offering
Ace
peace.
He
leaned
over
on
the
deck,
staring
at
his
friend
Zara
and
her
crewmate.
“Where
is
Nanu?”
Ace
asked.
All
three
looked
to
one
spot
between
Ace
and
Zara
who
looked
clueless.
A
fragment
of
arrows
pointing
towards
a
spot,
saying
he
was
missing.
“NANU!!?”
Zara
screamed,
losing
her
mind.
“He’s
gone.
Where
is
he?
Nanu!
You
there?”
Zara
worried,
looking
all
over
the
clearing
they
were
at.
From
under
the
hill,
to
the
top
of
a
tree.
She
searched
diligently,
until
she
no
longer
saw
a
sign
of
anything.
“The
bear
ran
off
with
some
of
Doi
Fangs
goonies…
my
guess
is
towards
the
center
of
the
jungle.
I
am
unsure
whether
he
is
alive
or
not…”
Hunter
parted.
Ace
crossed
his
arms,
understanding
what
he
had
meant.
“I
see…
so
the
werewolf’s
den.”
“Precisely…
I
came
here
to
capture
that
bounty.
The
man
however
has
the
entire
islands
creatures
under
his
control,
including
a
dangerous
area
as
his
base.”
Ace
informed.
“Who
are
you
guys
talking
about?”
Zara
asked.
Ace
pulled
out
a
bounty
poster,
handing
it
to
Zara.
She
examined
real
closely
to
the
crumbled
paper.
Her
eyes
becoming
narrow,
with
the
boys
both
nodding
their
heads
in
disapproval.
“There
is
nothing
here…”
“Exactly.
Anyone
who
has
gotten
close
to
the
wolf
has
been
killed.”
Hunter
explained.
“He
was
once
a
navy
recruit,
who
killed
a
high-ranking
member
of
the
Peacekeepers.
Headquarters
asked
for
us,
to
come
here
and
bring
him
back,
for
a
public
execution.
Sadly,
we
could
never
do
such
a
thing.”
“He
is
the
one
who
killed
your
team?”
Zara
asked.
“Ai.
And
if
we
were
to
go
back
there,
we
would
only
lose
more
soldiers.
Doi
Fang
will
have
to
do
for
now.”
Hunter
applauded.
“Do
me
a
favor
and
be
cautious
if
you
go
to
the
center.
No
telling
what
could
happen.”
“We
were
going
anyways…”
Ace
noted.
“I
lost
my
blade
at
his
den,
and
I
intend
on
going
back
to
retrieve
it.”
Hunter
nodded
towards
him.
“All
right,
let’s
get
moving
then.”
Zara
slammed
her
fists
into
her
palm
thrilled
for
another
adventure.
“I
must
do
the
same.
My
captain
is
awaiting
me
back
at
the
mother
ship.”
Hunter
replied.
Zara
quickly
asked,
about
the
ships.
The
one
Hunter
laid
on
board
to,
commanded
by
him
as
well,
a
brig.
Each
corporal
was
gifted
with
a
ship
to
test
their
leadership
abilities.
This
crew
along
with
his
ship,
were
his
own.
“Ready
to
set
sail,
back
to
the
mothership.”
“OI!!”
