Episode 13: Threatening the Peace!
Episode
Thirteen:
Threatening
the
Peace!
Within
the
Gali
jungle,
a
battle
between
two
men
who
survived
the
invasion
of
Soldat
finally
comes
head-to-head.
Ace
the
man
who
chose
the
Navy
Peacekeepers,
and
the
man
who
saved
him,
Doi
Fang.
Even
their
history,
Doi
Fang
continued
to
ignore
the
man,
for
a
more
pressing
matter.
He
focused
his
attention
on
the
one
person
who
made
him
and
the
heavens
angry.
Zara…
“Zara
you
have
to
be
careful
with
him…
he
is
a
power
holder
just
like
you,”
Ace
advised,
as
Zara
and
Nanu
turned
to
him.
“He
can
phase
too?”
Nanu
asked.
“No.
Doi
Fang
has
the
ere
called
the
“Holy
Light”
ere.
Priests
and
people
of
the
church
of
Auro
passed
this
ability
down
for
generations.
In
the
short
term,
he
is
what
you
would
call
a
light
man.
He
can
create
beams
of
light.
It
is
why
he
is
a
false
preacher,
using
the
heavens
as
an
excuse
to
harm
people,
with
his
power.”
Zara
looked
towards
the
man,
who
chuckled
beside
the
followers.
Ace
grabbed
his
weapon,
wrapped
in
the
brush
of
leaves.
Next
to
the
table
where
he
was
trapped,
the
three
stared
harshly
at
their
enemy.
“Ah.
Why
must
we
fight?
It
is
a
pity,
that
we
would
be
practicing
such
unholy
teachings
in
this
jungle.
Join
my
cause,
and
we
shall
rule
the
sea
with
the
power
of
the
heavens.”
Doi
Fang
laughed.
“Hell
no!!?”
The
three
all
yelled
out.
Doi
Fang
chuckled,
reaching
behind
his
waistcloth.
In
his
hand
was
a
gun.
It
was
golden
and
had
a
barrel
that
symbolized
a
cannon.
The
eyes
of
Ace
widened
in
a
frenzy,
soon
after
he
revealed
the
weapon.
He
patted
himself
down,
realizing
he
lost
something.
“Yes,
this
is
yours
boy.
Even
hunters
who
work
with
navy
men,
carry
a
flare
gun
to
signal
when
a
mission
is
complete.
Judging
by
your
reaction,
I
would
say
they
have
awaited
your
signal
for
a
while.
We
know
there
is
no
kind
of
Admiral
ship
around
here.
What
would
happen
if
I
fired
this?
Would
a
bunch
of
new
recruits
pull
by
the
island?”
“Tsk.
You
bastard…”
“Let
us
find
out.
Men!
Take
care
of
them.
I
will
go
to
the
cliff
of
the
jungle
and
see
what
awaits
me
there.”
Doi
Fang
ordered,
with
his
men
clinching
their
fists
and
blunt
weapons.
“My
best
soldiers
will
take
care
of
you
three.
Lieutenants!
Take
care
of
the
three.”
The
footsteps
of
a
giant
rumbled
in
the
clearing.
It
was
as
if
the
ground
underneath
them
all
began
to
rumble,
with
an
upset
stomach.
Everyone’s
faces
were
in
awe
until
the
arrival
of
a
behemoth
from
another
world
came
to
be.
“Whoa!
Look
at
the
size
of
him.”
Zara
enthusiastically
said.
“Ahh!
Why
did
I
come
here?”
Nanu
asked.
“He
is
a
behemoth!”
Ace
added.
The
man
would
remind
you
of
a
larger
version
of
Captain
Winters.
A
widened
frame,
covered
in
a
large
brown
cloak
made
the
ground
shake.
He
wore
nothing
but
a
rugged
cloak
to
his
calves.
He
had
fewer
teeth,
than
the
amount
of
days
Zara
spent
in
the
outside
world.
Hands
that
would
snap
a
lion's
neck,
with
the
addition
of
him
being
taken
as
an
animal
with
his
hairy
appearance.
Standing
at
ten
feet
tall,
the
man
picked
his
nose,
flinging
what
came
out
into
the
trees.
“Doyyyy
Fannggg…
who
do
I
need
to
beat
up
for
you,
sir?”
The
giant
asked,
with
a
slow
speech
of
someone
uneducated.
“Pepe…
I
need
you
to
take
care
of
these
three
intruders,
who
step
on
our
soil.
Along
with
your
other
friend.”
“Huh?
Do
you
mean
my
swordsman
friend?
He
gets
to
play
too?”
“Yes…
Pepe.
Your
friend
gets
to
play
with
you
too.”
“Yay!”
The
man
Doi
Fang
and
the
giant
Pepe
referred
to,
wore
a
brown
cloak,
with
this
covering
his
face.
It
was
almost
impossible
to
see
what
remained
under
the
figure's
face.
All
someone
could
call
him
was
a
specter.
The
cloaked
man
pulled
out
a
blade
from
his
cloak.
Not
just
an
ordinary
blade
either,
but
a
wooden
sword.
“I
question
your
weapon
of
choice,
but
after
all,
you
are
undefeated
in
combat.
So…
take
care
of
them.
We
will
steal
a
Navy
vessel
and
head
to
the
Pinnacle!”
Doi
Fang
barked,
using
his
light
ability
to
fly
through
the
jungle
debris.
Ace
yelled
out
the
man’s
name
in
terror
to
not
steal
the
ship.
An
antagonistic
laugh
carried
through
the
jungle,
with
no
room
for
error
on
Zara
and
the
guy’s
part.
Save
a
group
of
soldiers
from
extinction.
“Where
do
you
think
you're
going?”
Pepe
asked,
punching
the
ground
beside
Ace.
Crap…
if
I
do
not
do
something
captain
is
going
to
run
into
a
trap.
Especially
out
of
all
the
captains,
it
had
to
be
Maxi.
The
only
person
who
does
not
have
any
Ere
ability.
He
cannot
fend
off
Doi
Fang.
Ace
continued
to
think
of
ways
to
get
past
the
large
man
Pepe.
If
only
my
body
was
not
able
to
feel
his
attacks,
then
I
could
walk
past
him.
That’s
it!
“Zara!”
Ace
yelled
out.
She
and
Nanu
continued
to
duck
the
giant’s
attacks.
Although
they
were
slow
attacks,
it
packed
a
mean
punch
behind
them.
“Zara!
Use
your
ability
and
chase
Doi
Fang.
You
can
get
there
before
any
of
us.”
Ace
yelled
out,
kicking,
and
punching
off
a
couple
of
followers.
“Don’t
worry.
Nanu
is
going
to
be
safe
with
me!
You
are
the
only
one
who
can
match
his
speed!”
“Cappin’
I
will
be
okay.
I
am
not
that
useless.
Just
scared
is
all.”
Nanu
clarified
to
make
his
captain
at
ease.
Zara
nodded
her
head,
turning
her
attention
to
the
direction
of
Doi
Fang.
She
began
to
take
off
running,
before
a
couple
of
followers
stepped
in
front
of
her.
She
used
a
hardening
ability
from
her
powers,
to
hammer
away
at
the
small
obstacles.
“Doi
Fang!
I
am
coming
to
beat
you
up!”
Zara
yelled
out.
“Hey…
the
tan
girl
got
away…”
Pepe
muttered.
“Oh
well…
I
get
to
play
with
the
Navy
man
and
the
panda!”
“I
am
a
polar
bear!”
“You
are?”
Ace
asked,
putting
Nanu
in
a
shocked
state.
Ace
stepped
back
after
being
caught
off
guard.
You
would
think
a
superstar
model
passed
by.
This
was
not
the
case
for
this
reaction.
The
other
lieutenant
with
the
wooden
sword
disappeared.
Ace
asked
where
he
had
gone
before
Pepe
answered
that
he
chased
after
Zara.
Both
became
worried
for
their
friend
Zara,
who
was
running
into
a
trap.
“Well,
we
have
to
be
quick
about
things
now,
Nanu.
Otherwise,
I
am
afraid
Zara
will
not
have
much
longer.”
“Righ-
right!”
“What
can
you
do?
I
know
Zara
is
a
phase
woman,
but
what
is
your
skillset
during
battle?”
“Um…
well
I
have…
um…
nothing
really,”
Nanu
stated,
with
a
water
drop
falling
on
the
top
of
his
head.
Ace
remained
stunned.
“Well.
That
is
quite
all
right,
friend.
I
know
many
men
who
do
not
have
good
fighting
skills.
If
you
need
to,
just
stand
behind
me.”
Ace
unsheathed
his
blade
finally.
Nanu
and
the
rest
of
the
followers
were
caught
in
awe
of
the
great
sword,
Ace
carried.
A
blade
that
was
the
perfect
tool
for
Ace.
The
handle
of
the
blade
is
no
more
than
that
of
a
rapier
or
common
sword.
The
blade
itself
was
two
feet
wide,
with
a
length
nearly
matching
its
user
Aces
height.
A
shiny
black
sliver
blade
mirroring
the
reflection
of
the
one
who
meets
their
fate,
from
this
blade.
A
butcher
great
sword,
with
a
half-moon
shape
cut
on
one
side
of
the
blade.
“That’s
a
big
sword…”
The
followers
all
yelled
out.
“Hmph.
This
is
my
sword
Butcher
Exile.
I
practiced
many
sword
styles
in
my
time
away
from
you
guys.
I
call
this
the
one-hand
butcher
man
style.”
In
the
world
of
Outlaws,
no
true
swordsman
has
the
same
sword
style
as
another.
When
a
swordsman
whether
it
be
a
short
sword
or
one
massive
like
Aces
meets.
They
announce
their
styles
to
show
their
originality.
To
honor
the
style
of
another,
one
must
never
copy.
An
unwritten
rule
in
the
world
of
outlaws.
Swordsman
of
the
world,
continue
to
honor
this
rule
to
this
day.
If
two
men
meet
with
the
same
style,
then
they
must
battle
to
the
death
to
determine
who
owns
the
sword
style.
“Butcher
man
style?”
Nanu
asked.
“It
is
something
I
came
up
with.
Like
a
poacher
or
a
true
Ace
after
a
big
catch.
It
is
a
style
that
I
created.”
“Big
deal…
my
sword
style
is
better
than
yours!”
Pepe
laughed,
catching
Ace’s
attention.
“Ahh!!”
Pepe
whipped
out,
one
of
the
largest
weapons
seen
by
man.
A
great
battle
axe,
that
seemed
invincible
and
crude
enough
to
be
a
two-handed
weapon.
Large
as
Pepe
is
the
weapon
handled
inside
of
his
right
hand.
An
axe
with
a
handle
made
of
a
jungle
tree,
with
a
light
brown
tone.
Its
blade
was
carved
between
the
sharpest
stones
around
the
jungle,
making
the
iron
tool
a
fearful
weapon.
“Meet
my
style…
I
call
it.
Giant
Ace
style.”
Pepe
laughed.
“Nanu…
get
back!”
“EHH!??”
Nanu
yelled
out,
running
into
the
jungle.
Behind
him,
were
a
dozen
followers
yelling
towards
the
polar
bear.
Nanu
swung
his
arms
in
the
air
with
tears
flying
out
on
occasion
in
panic.
“Get
that
panda!”
“He
is
a
scared
one,
lets
slaughter
him!”
“EH!?
I
am
a
polar
bear!”
A
spear
was
thrown
into
a
tree
close
to
Nanu.
His
tongue
stuck
out
like
a
lightning
bolt,
with
his
eyes
nearly
falling
out.
Ace
continued
to
call
for
his
friend,
but
the
polar
bear
continued
to
run
into
the
dense
forest,
singing
a
parody
of
screams.
That
idiot…
Ace's
face
grinned
in
shock
and
disgust,
smacking
himself
on
the
face.
“Why
did
I
befriend,
two
idiots?”
“Hey,
you
have
to
play
with
me
now!
Pay
attention!”
Pepe
yelled
out.
His
axe
already
nearing
Ace’s
face,
as
he
turned
to
face
his
opponent.
Only
being
able
to
evade
by
rolling
to
the
side.
“You
move
fast,
for
a
weak
Navy
man.
I
don’t
want
to
have
to
kill
you,
but
you
are
weak…You
three
will
not
survive
here.”
Pepe
chuckled.
“Tsk.”
