He took it from me and showed me how to use it. It was rather simple and to the point.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;I am such an idiot&#x2026;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Don&#x2019;t worry, my father used to sell older models at an old relic store and showed me how to clean and load them. They were actually rather fun times&#x2026;&#x201D; Nix said, looking into the barrel. It seemed he still was unable to accept his fate.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;He seems more scared than he is letting on&#x2026;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Nix, are you going to be, okay?&#x201D; I asked. &#x201C;With you know&#x2026; Giving up?&#x201D;&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Ahhhhh&#x2026; I guess the fear of death comes with everyone. I never quite believed the one life to live so why not trend. Now I am close to death&#x2026; I regret never taking chances on certain moments in my life!&#x201D; Nix said boldly. He started to cough up more blood.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;My time is coming, Yucci Hiro&#x2026; Make it quick, please!&#x201D; He said, handing me the rifle and falling to the ground.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;I quickly walked over to him as he told me to stop. His hand had begun to change into long claws like the Alcatail beast from before. His eyes changed into a cloudy gray as all I could hear him say was to shoot.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;My conscience was not even present as I realized the barrel was pointed to his forehead.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Help&#x2026; Me!&#x201D; The faint British accent disappeared as a screech followed.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;My hand squeezed the barrel by accident. I heard a loud sound echo through the room.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;BANG!!!!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Oh no&#x2026; NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! What have I done?&#x201D; I screamed to myself as I looked at the half and half body of what was an alien and Nixon.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;His eyes were opened as I slowly put my hand over them and let him pass peacefully.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x2026;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;I continued to tell my story, as the group understood why I shot Nix. They still seemed to be mellow about everything. They were very comedic in making the dark story have a bright light around it.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;So yeah, it was a rough start to this world,&#x201D; I said, with a full plate of food in my mouth.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;She&#x2019;s eating all of our rations for Darmin, damnit!&#x201D; Flame-hair sarcastically commented.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Not like you clean your plate anyways,&#x201D; Gray Coat Marshall interjected.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;Lucy told them to relax. They supposedly had plenty and if worse came to worse, I would help myself to that storage area.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;The doctor asked what happened, as I was eating. I finished my fruit and then gave a short rundown.&#x26;nbsp;&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;After that, I was solo around Womcos for a couple days. Surviving and finding my sister is all I cared about at that point. Then I met Asaka&#x2026;&#x201D; I said as I looked at his deep sleep.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;I then heard the loudmouth red hair comment something.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Your significant other, you mean&#x2026;&#x201D; Lloyd retorted bitterly as I became flustered and hid my face.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Yeah, I thought the same thing!&#x201D; Jai added slapping Lloyd on the back.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;I told you&#x2026; Not the swing I swing on&#x2026;&#x201D; I muttered, as a giant was above the two.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Knock it off you two, she is telling us something serious!&#x201D; The blonde girl Lucy ranted at them, while bashing their heads in with her fists. Two bumps appeared over their heads. &#x201C;Now apologize to her, you idiots&#x2026;&#x201D;&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Sorry, forgive us madam!!!&#x201D; The two said to me as I chuckled a bit. Everything to this point was mostly dark and life-threatening so seeing two knuckleheads like these two shared a small light in this dark world.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;&#x201C;Aye, Lucy, go easy on the two, because without them what are we going to do going forward?&#x201D; The intelligent doctor who worked on Asaka asked. Lucy seemed to calm down for a bit.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;This girl Lucy, sure does have an outgoing personality. She keeps those two under control, while their doctor is more of an adult who intervenes logic into everything. I never have seen an actual Overseer besides one, so I am clueless what he is like.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x9;They have a pretty great team from the looks of it, but are they strong enough? I can still see green on them&#x2026;&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;From what I know, Belrim is the weakest country so conquering it is not difficult. No wonder they are so lively, then!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Hey Yucci, right?&#x201D; The doctor Calum asked. &#x201C;What happened after you helped the man see his way out? You never continued on how you met Asaka.&#x201D;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;I can tell you later&#x2026;&#x201D; I said as I was about to eat my food. That is, until the three guys took my plate.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;They all had faces of a Demon.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Finish your story&#x2026;&#x201D; Lloyd said in an intimidating fashion&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Then you can help yourself to anything you would like!&#x201D; Jai said, attempting to persuade me, but food is my weakness. I quickly gave in.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Don&#x2019;t be foolish and skip any plot points to your story now,&#x201D; Calum mentioned.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I then cleared my throat and continued.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x2026;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;For about six days, I held up in this six-by-six building with a window for an entrance. The underground tunnel from Nixon&#x2019;s camp led me to this point. I used the knowledge and small lessons he taught me to further my way into Womcos. I learned of the great histories of the country and their downfall. I created my own sniper nest close to the base where the Alcatail army resided.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I was a one-woman army taking down any of the creatures I saw. Luckily, they were unable to enter my base because of their ridiculous length and size. I even added a suppression muzzle to my rifle, in some cases.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Looks right for game!&#x201D; I whispered out loud excited by the weird deer creature before me. &#x201C;No, Alcatail either&#x2026;&#x201D;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Steady&#x2026; And fire!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;A clean shot into the head dropped the deer by a lake. I quickly hurried over to collect its carcass. The deer was a combination of a bird, deer, and lion so I referred to it as a Pheon.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I began to carve up the meat of the animal next to the water.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;It was oddly quiet for once and not deafening like the outdoors usually can be.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;Phew&#x2026; Well today was easy- &#x201C;I said until a ripple in the water appeared.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;One of the Alcatail that are primarily in water appeared as I reached for my musket. I noticed I did not reload it.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;I am such an idiot!&#x201D; I yelled in frustration.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;That was when I saw it. Life not only flashed before my eyes but that of a creature flying in the sky towards me.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;If I can reload, I can take out this thing, then whatever is in the sky&#x2026;&#x201D; I muttered to myself even as I fumbled with the cartridge and barrel of the musket.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I attempted to back up and reload, but, before I could finish, the creature in the water ran towards me. I avoided its jaw and claws by pushing the gun between us. His jaw bit into the gun, as his claws grabbed the gun. We fell to the ground and I was just desperate to hold it back long enough.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;This is not going to last long&#x2026; I am not strong enough!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;The green light in the sky which flew around, shortly after flew down.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I saw the head of the Alcatail creature rise as it was cleaved off by something flying down. Whatever had caused the strike was done masterfully and cleanly.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;What?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;The thing landed and took the shape of a human. The glowing green light disappeared and all that remained was a man with a black and gray cloak around his body. He had long purple hair flowing down, underneath a black military hat with a mystique to him. His back was to me and he finally turned with an irritated smile.&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;You must be one of Butch&#x2019;s surviving comrades&#x2026; The name is Asaka and we were looking for you guys!&#x201D;&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
